Tajikistan being one of the countries in the heart of Asia, is a landlocked country and also the home of several ancient culture. Despite the independent of the country is not long compares to some other countries we’ve read, Tajikistan is extremely culture rich and diverse. The country is covered by mountains and has many rivers and lakes, this geographic character makes Tajikistan a home for people of different faiths and cultures.

When I was researching for book about Tajikistan, I found it’s very challenging since not many books are translated, and not many can be qualified as “books by Tajikistan authors”. One of the reason is because the complicated history of the country and Central Asia, makes it hard to track authors nationalities. However I believe it’s also not that important especially for countries and regions like Central Asia, because the history roots of each country is entangled with one and another.

Here are some books I found about the topic of Tajikistan, and I’m ready to dive into this land that was mysterious to me before.
