Cursed Bunny is a short story collection by South Korean author Bora Chung. It was the first book I finished in 2022, and it was such a wonderful read. This horror and magical realism short story collection hit me with every aspect of reality. I wasn’t scared by the horror concepts in the book, but the things the book portraits that could happen in our day-to-day life were the ones that frightened me.
This book redefined short story collection in my reading, and introduced me to Bora Chung and the translator Anton Hur. Makes me want to explore more of their writings and translations, and read more short story collections! Watch my full review on BookTube :)
