Well hello! It's been a while. I just want to pop up and say hi and updating on this piece that I finally decided to let it be. Some of you guys noticed it in some of my BookTube videos, I started it inspired by the book The Island of Missing Trees a
Lost track of what day it is, but finally finished this sketch from last week! On the days I take the paintings slowly, I finally have time to go back to some drawing and lighting basics, and take some online courses or read books about paintings. ?
Meanwhile in the studio... Since I decided to not rush through all the landscapes, I started to take things reeeeeally slow and went back to the fundamentals. 🌱 By practicing the basic shapes and forms, I already see some blind spots in my painting
Day 15. The left is another failed cloud study I tried yesterday (seriously, what is it???). The right one is a work in progress today. After some serious of thinking, I decided to shift the premise of this 100 days challenge a little bit. Instead of
